Dynamic Interpersonal Communication Skills
Most
of the day-to-day communications we engage in are informal, casual, or generally
unstructured, yet they are rarely neutral. The success we achieve in our lives
depends in large part on how conscious and skillful we are in these various
interpersonal communication situations. Increase your comfort and command in
one-on-ones, negotiations, interviews, meetings with supervisors or subordinates,
business discussions, social settings, etc.
In this 2-day program participants will learn:
- Effective Listening skills
- The power of positive language, images, and emotion
- Communication Styles
- 5 ways to understand and connect with others
- Conflict management tools
- Conversation Mapping
- Mental Agility tools for extemporaneous speaking
- Vocal skills, pausing, pacing, and elimination of 'filler words'
- Appropriate body language
This course utilizes extensive videotape feedback and accommodates 1-12 people. A 1-day version of this program is also available.
